The “poplars” have indicated that the most recent national data indicate that the “vast majority” of physicians are between 55 and 64 years old, and a percentage of those between 65 and 69 years old and that are still activethey will retire in the next 10 or 12 years.
The loss of doctors during that period is estimated to be about 80,000, which is: represents an annual average of between 7,000 and 8,000 per yearthey have added.
From the PP they have stated that there are in the province of Huesca specialties in which all their specialists will retire in the next ten years and in the case of rheumatology and preventive medicine “all will be lost”.
Faced with this “gloomy future” and emphasizing “the respect due to the autonomy of the university”, the PP underlined that one of the options being considered is the conclusion of agreements to train physicians in Aragón, “more than enough reason to take the option to implant the full degree in medicine on the Huesca campus”.
The ‘popular’ have continued to say that it is “a” inalienable ambition of the city” and now, with his hospital’s university category, “he’s getting an even more solid consistency.”
The resolution proposal prepared by the Municipal Group of the PP defends that the Huesca City Council for the University of Zaragoza and the Government of Aragon city university campus implantation of the full degree of medicine. Likewise, he is urging Socialist Mayor Luis Felipe to make “all his efforts” to take the necessary steps to ensure a “quality” health service.
